COLTS

L.R. Costanzo Co., Inc. (LRC) served as the General Contractor for the construction of Lackawanna County’s (COLTS) new, $60 million, 115,000 square foot transit facility. Featuring expansive administrative and operations areas, the structure provides substantial maintenance space, along with bus and van storage facilities. In addition, there are bus and bus chasse wash areas, vehicle lifts, and a new fueling station, including an above ground tank. Currently, the team is demolishing the original COLTS building, converting it to additional outside parking and adding two, water retention ponds.

Johnson College Ideal Saldi Hall

The team from L.R. Costanzo was called upon to construct the college’s showcase building, Ideal Saldi Hall. This new building welcomes all students and houses administration offices, classrooms, computer labs, financial aid, student area, advising, Hallway of Industry, and Alumni Heritage Room.

Lace Village

L.R. Costanzo (LRC) served as the Construction Manager for this mammoth, community revitalization project that restored 9 of the 32 original buildings dating back to 1901 that made up the former Scranton Lace Company. From 1916 to 2002, the Scranton Lace Company remained the first and largest known producer of Nottingham Lace in the United States.

NEW LR Costanzo Coporate Office

L.R. Costanzo Co., Inc. (LRC) transformed an existing multi-office building into a modern, architectonic headquarters through a comprehensive design-build approach. The project involved significant expansion to increase square footage, accommodating current staff and future growth. Structural upgrades included new foundations, structural steel, an expanded deck, and a new roof, bringing the facility up to ADA, structural, and engineering standards.
